DESA lends their hand to help those in need!
“Dynamo Gives Back”: Spear-headed by Nate Riek, the U13 Dynamo Boys soccer team donated approximately 50 new sports balls (footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, and kick balls) to elementary students at Dr. Louis A. Cerulli School #34 in Rochester. Representing their team, Nate Riek and Pat Miller attended an assembly at School #34 on Friday, November 18. The sports equipment was given to the students to support their recess program and positive reinforcement program. Great Job Nate and team!

Dynamo Boys 14
The DESA Boys U14 team had a successful season, especially considering that they were a first year premier team. The team only had 11 players on the roster after the initial tryout but by December the squad had a mix of 17 players from Webster, Fairport, Brighton and Gates. Despite the fact that they all didn’t know each other from playing soccer nor socially, the team came together very well. “At the beginning of the season, I thought that I would be happy with a .500 record, given that it was our first year together and that we’d be playing premier teams that had been together much longer.” said Coach Buckley. “The boys exceeded that, played some very good soccer and formed some great friendships, all of which I was very proud of.” The team ended up with a record of 12-9-2, with the following accomplishments: Finalist in Sahlen’s BU14 Winter Tournament, 2nd Place finish in the BU14 Thruway League Blue Division, BU14 Champion in the NOSO Cup in Ohio.
The team would like to thank managers Dana Limperis and Shelly Colway and assistant coaches Todd Nadritch and Francisco Chaves for their time and energy in helping the team.
